The College of Communication & Information has placed great importance on quality academic advising and provides a variety of advising resources to students throughout their academic career. It is highly recommended that all students meet with an advisor at least once each term.
The Advising Center
The Advising Center in the College of Communication & Information serves undergraduate students in all three schools that comprise the college, including those who are interested in admission to the School of Communication Science & Disorders as well as students who have been accepted as majors. Students who have been accepted should log on to Blackboard for updates.
Hours of Operation. The Advising Center is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and operates on an appointment-only basis, with the exception of the Drop/Add period when walk-ins are accepted during specified times.

Transfer Student Advising
In addition to submitting a university application, transfer students must aso apply for admission to either Communication or Communication Disorders.
